Erik Eriksson Design produces aerodynamic front splitter with wing underside for Z3. Fits front bumpers from models 1.8 to 3.0.
Both surfaces are fully at work creating downforce.
Parts are created fully 3D-printed in 8 piece interlocking modular system. then 6mm wooden pins are pushed in between them and all parts joined from seams very carefully. Many people, including myself use the print to make full carbon fiber / twaron version of it. You can print it with 7-10% infill and 2-3 walls and it should take moderate vacuum pressure in wet layup. If you are really crazy, you then open the back seam and emove the printed part from the middle, leaving you crazy functional air core carbon front diffuser with working front side and working underside, with less weight than your mobile phone.
