Ferrari 348 Foglight Cover Pair L + R

A stock foglight mount covers are no longer available from Ferrari. So I was asked to design new version. Overall I spent best part of 3 weeks into designing this.

First week into coming up with winning solution, stock spring loaded mechanism is no longer manufactured and similar types do not exist. A durable mono-material compliance mechanism was invented and tested separetely for 100+ On / Off cycles. 

Second week using 100k€ 3D-scanner to original and designing the part.

Third week was used to hone in best printing orientation and and best fitment with large amount of protoparts. 

Customer just installed the last ones on his own and was over the moon happy with the results. So the products are now available for international shipping. 

NOTE: Last picture: the adjustment screw that seems to not affect anything needs to be screwed all the way down for part to fit, but this is same with stock Ferrari parts.
